On the one hand, youth organisations perceive a lack of representation in territorial decision-making and find the existing means of promoting confrontation, such as forums and working groups, ineffective. On the other hand, local authorities feel the need to acquire more competences regarding youth policies and participative involvement.<\/p>\n<p>These are just the main points of what emerged from the<a href=\"https:\/\/placeout.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/D2.2-Needs-Assessment-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">needs analysis<\/a> of young people and local institutions in non-urban areas, which we conducted in recent months as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/agenzialama.eu\/appunti\/news\/place-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Place Out! project<\/a>which runs in parallel in four European rural territories with similar characteristics, including Mugello (Tuscany) in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>In a field such as <strong>territorial regeneration<\/strong>, promoting dialogue between institutions and youth groups can be an important key to activating processes that can generate innovation and have a positive impact on the social, political and economic dynamics of these territories.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the findings of the first phase of the project, we developed a calendar of training sessions targeted at the two identified interest groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018REVITALISING RURAL SPACES\u2019: ONLINE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES<\/h2>\n<p>Two <strong>webinar<\/strong>&nbsp;cycles in March and April: <b>from 6 March<\/b> every Wednesday <b>until 24 April<\/b> there will be a cycle dedicated to youth organisations and <b>from 14 March<\/b>every Thursday <b>until 11 April<\/b>&nbsp; there will be a cycle dedicated to local institutions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A range of topics will be explored, including spatial regeneration, European project development and participatory processes, providing valuable insights and practical knowledge to promote positive change.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/placeout.eu\/webinar-for-youth-grassroot-organizations\/\"><strong>Read the programme and more information<\/strong><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/placeout.eu\/webinar-for-youth-grassroot-organizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>for youth organisations<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/placeout.eu\/webinar-for-local-institutions\/\"><strong>Read the programme and more information for<\/strong><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/placeout.eu\/webinar-for-local-institutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>local institutions<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>TRAINING COURSES IN MUGELLO<\/h2>\n<p>In the middle of March, <strong>training courses<\/strong> will be organised in the municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo.
