{"id":10223,"date":"2022-11-02T16:55:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T15:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agenzialama.eu\/portfolio\/how-can-traditional-handicraft-production-be-brought-back-to-an-historic-centre\/"},"modified":"2023-01-12T17:27:16","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T16:27:16","slug":"how-can-traditional-handicraft-production-be-brought-back-to-an-historic-centre","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/agenzialama.eu\/en\/portfolio\/how-can-traditional-handicraft-production-be-brought-back-to-an-historic-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"How can traditional handicraft production be brought back to an historic centre?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Florence Osservatorio dei Mestieri d&#8217;Arte (OMA), together with the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, commissioned LAMA to carry out a <strong>feasibility study<\/strong> to check the condition of the artistic craftsmanship enterprises in the Florentine area, useful for the <strong>definition of a model to support<\/strong> the (re)establishment of these enterprises in the Historic Centre of Florence, with the dual objective of supporting the sector and providing an opportunity to <strong>relaunch the city<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The study was carried out through the analysis of regulations and context data concerning the Florentine artistic handcraft sector, a <strong>questionnaire to the companies<\/strong> of the OMA network, <strong>interviews to local stakeholders<\/strong>, a desk research of <strong>European best practices on resettlement projects<\/strong>. Possible <strong>scenarios<\/strong> were then drawn up, with relative risks and opportunities, for models to support artistic craftwork, favouring its settlement in the historic
